Scouting is a FAMILY adventure!

We are a fully inclusive Cub Scout Pack for special needs, located in Fort Pierce, FL. We are chartered by The Crossing Community Church.  Our ALL volunteer, non-profit organization has an educational program that welcomes and supports all children ages 5 & up by offering a slower paced progression and a traditional scouting program. The design of this pack is to create a welcoming & patient environment for families, to promote positive reinforcement in learning activities, build social skills and form a structured routine for our scouts. We understand every child has their own unique abilities and challenges in everyday life. We get it!!! All we ask from any scout is to "Do your best!".

Our Cubmaster and Den Leaders provide a positive, developing program for all Cub Scout families to enjoy together.  We are always looking for parents, family members, and friends that wish to volunteer their time having adventures with the cubs and watching them grow!

Each year we customize our Pack Calendar to fit the needs of our Pack Families.  We typically have 3 to 4 camp-outs, 1 to 2 build and race events (like Pinewood derby), hiking, service projects, parades, summer activities and so much more!  We work hard to provide a quality program designed to adapt learning and activities to enhance the development of physical, mental and emotional fitness while recognizing each scout's individual needs.  Our leaders are dedicated parents and friends of scouting, just like you, that are volunteering their time to help the Scouts succeed!

In Cub Scouting, children, families, and adult leaders work together to achieve these objectives:

  • Influence a child's character development and spiritual growth.

  • Develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship.

  • Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body.

  • Improve understanding within the family.

  • Strengthen a child's ability to get along with others.

  • Foster a sense of personal achievement by developing new interests and skills.

  • Provide fun and exciting new things to do.

  • Show a child how to be helpful and do their best!

  • Prepare them to be a Scout BSA.

Pack 456 is NOT a Drop-Off unit at any rank/age for your scout. We require at least one adult be present per scout, an ABA/RBT tech qualifies, but cannot be the only one for multiple scouts in attendance at any event.  We encourage and welcome ALL parents & behavioral techs to attend with their scout (ex.meetings, outdoor activities, camping, etc).

We recruit year round, so please come for a visit any time!  For your first visit, a den meeting is highly recommended as these are with the individual grade levels and typically have hands on activities.  Pack meetings are a time for us all to come together to celebrate Scout achievements and present awards/patches.
